Another Season Poem by Dorsey Baker

Another Season

Your brain
won't pick up
the signal
you've lost touch
with reality
you are
in the prison of fiction
you see
a vision
of unrealistic danger
now you have become
to yourself a stranger
in the sinkhole
of despair
wrinkles blanket
your face
and white
has turned the
color of your hair
you refuse to
listen to reason
you have
become another season!
