Another Twin Poem by Randy McClave

Another Twin

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I wish that I had another twin
But, one who likes to fight, curse, swear and sin,
One who isn't married and who loves to chase all the ladies
And one who isn't afraid of Hell, by calling it Hades.
A twin who likes to cheat and lie and gamble a lot
What's wrong with a little indulging, if you're not caught,
Though we came from the same branch of the same family tree
My twin brother, he is nothing like me.
I wish that I had a twin that was a little wicked like that
Not, like the one that I have now, the preaching doormat,
He is kind and forgiving and proper and prim
But, if I had the other, I could blame all my immorality's on him.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am an identical twin, my brother and I are each other, neither one of us smoke or swear or curse or drink or etc. I wrote this poem as if someone had a bad identical twin, they could start doing bad themselves and blame it on the other.

Who likes to fight, curse, swear and sin he provokes thought and gives sadness to others. But who likes love and peace is identical twin. An amazing poem is very beautifully penned on brotherhood...10
