Appetizer Poem by Lamar Cole

Appetizer

She was napping and sunbathing on a secluded beach.
And woke up to find a bear staring at her.
The bear said, you look quite lovely my dear.
For the appetizer I think that I will start by munching on your ear.
She knew that the situation wasn't going to end right.
She was going to be the bear's dinner.
But at least the bear was polite.

Tricky bear, trying to be polite to win her heart

She should politely say to the bear, 'Could you excuse me for a moment, please? ' .... And then, take off running just as fast as she can! Or perhaps lying very still and playing dead would work better. Cute poem, Lamar!
