Lamar Cole

Beard - Poem by Lamar Cole

He remembered when he had it all.
When his head wasn't so bald.
He remembered how she use to run her hands through his hair.
But now there is nothing there.
It feels kind of weird.
Now she has to run her hands through his beard.

Lamar, dear Poet! Undoubtedly. you are a king of Humour Poems.
'Beard' is the finest example of how with six lines, you have created a story through your poem,
full of punch, a fun filled situation and a kind of satire as well.
