Apple In The Snow Poem by Marilyn Lott

Apple In The Snow

Rating: 4.3

It was a wintry white-out day
As I went about my chores
A chill filled the country air
Ice held tight the old barn door

The sun was out that morning
The snow sparkled like tiny gems
The trees were oh, so beautiful
Snow laden on their limbs

The cow peeked out of the shed
He too I know felt the cold
It was the kind of day
That nature was so bold

It was then that I saw it
Standing out bright and red
It was a red apple, you see
A little ways from the old shed

It put a smile upon my face
So beautiful, you know?
It was so startling to see
An apple in the snow!
