Are We Lost? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Are We Lost?

Are we lost?

Cannot say I am proud
Easier to confirm: "I am lost"
God lived till Nietzsche's time
In the hearts, church and mosque
Leaders said: "worst murder, suicide."
The reason or comment a sort of logical:
"Can repent and do well if killing anyone…"
And they meant: "but not when you are gone! "

Now we are afraid of a bomber if is self-suicides
Yet the courts and the laws permit it without bomb.

Are we right?
Where are we?
Are we wrong?

Doctors had to take oath:
"I swear not…"
Now reversed…are allowed.

Everything in our time seems the same.
"Don't murder, don't drink, no gamble…"
All of them in Islam are for life, rules, social…

But no more are the same…

Are we right?
Where are we?
Are we wrong?
