Forever Krysia

Around Me - Poem by Forever Krysia

Seated on the porch I gaze at the world around me,
Seeing nothing but war and hatred around me.

So many dying while children are crying around me,
'Something must be done' heard - but no hand raised around me.

Sorrowful countries facing terrorists grim-faced around me,
Shame-faced young girls bearing new life around me.

Staring out the window,
Gazing at the world around me.
