Arrogance, Disrespect And Insecurities Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Arrogance, Disrespect And Insecurities

If it was not for people of color,
Occupying the minds of those without it.
24/7 every minute and second of each day.
To feel they must compare themselves,
In all ways possible.
Conservative radio talk show hosts,
And selected TV programs.
Would have no reason to remind themselves,
Or others to convince...
How great they are from head to toe.
Everywhere they go to display,
Arrogance, disrespect and insecurities!
With such self invoking feelings,
Of being superior over others.
