As His Demise Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

As His Demise

Rating: 3.5

Person can not dig his own grave
He will never crave for his downfall
Only mad man can go with such adventure
As he is unaware of misadventure

Person looses his sense of humor
Where there is lack of honor
Person feels jealousy for others
He thinks of himself and does not bother

Such behavior invites wrath
Not only from own belief
But from person who is blind and deaf
It can bring no happiness or relief

Sensible never cuts branch
On which he occupies many more inches
It is safe place and refuge
The responsibility is so much huge

If person is hell bent
No feelers can be sent
He will not listen for any advice
On the contrary he will breach all promises

Such people are bound to suffer
In the near future and not later
The result will be known much to his surprise
It may be as good as his demise

I like it Max French17 minutes ago I was a little lost. I think I understand what you're trying to say, but your use of language is unique and leads to very dark imagery. I like most of it. You might have done this on purpose, but you could use a little proofreading on this poem. Other than some small errors, that might have been intentional, I can safely say that you have a unique voice Comment +1
