As Life Go's On Poem by alan brown

As Life Go's On

Unwanted I crouch beneath my covered heart
never believing the lies
as I hide.
Unattended and without spoken words

I enter the demise of the defended.
Only giving hope to the compromise
that haunts my sole.
As life goes on
