As Long As I Have You Poem by Aliw Mismanos

As Long As I Have You

Rating: 4.5

I dropped on my wobbling knees
Praying to help me go through this
I am asking for guidance and mercy
To face all this calmly and accordingly...

The sting of each word is fresh
Hitting my bones and flesh
Ripping me limb by limb
Tearing me into tiny pieces...

A sin of anger is eating me alive
I dream of destroying her like hive
I'm itching to give her humiliation
Like the way she's doing with mine.

When my eyes catch her
Everything i remember
My heart beat faster
My blood like brew!

I tried hard to control my wounded hurting self
All strength and wisdom brought out of shelf
I am not weak to fall apart over a word or two
I can withstand her insult as long as i have you.
