S-unshine in the morning
H-as awakened you from slumber;
E-arly beautiful new day
R-ises to meet the fine weather.
W-hite clouds gladly move
I-n the wide blue sky;
N-ovember twenty-eighth day greets the rays up high.
E-vening shadows and chill
S-tay away from the dawn;
C-old rain and darkness
O-f the lonely night are gone.
B-ad clime and howler
A-re both nowhere in sight;
L-et the crimson cause comfort as the beacon brings the light.
