As You Step In Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

As You Step In

Rating: 3.5

As you step in the responsible zone
You feel they will wreck you like cyclone
There will be devastation and debris of all kind
Not a single living or bled of glass to find

Once life is accepted as challenge
Nothing seems unusual or strange
Everything moves on unexpected lines
You face the people in form of scoundrels, goons and swine

You show little slackness and they will pounce upon
They will have watchful eye and strict follow on
You are given no respite to regroup and offer reply
It is calculated move and clever employ

The life become holy crusade for survival
You are now fully in for its revival
You may leave no stone unturned
The desired goal has to be achieved and returned

The life to some one may seem to be spending time at ease
To create hierarchy only and nothing more to and release
If you are left with hereditary fortune then life will be mechanical
The idle situation and living situation may just be identical

You may be reduced to just living piece
It may function but may not please
You merely a living entity
It has no new impetus or any quality

Many would have preferred no birth
If it was know to them that there will be death too
There may be great struggle and difficulties
And whole life you will be fighting for entities

Still it has been preferred as holy mission
Every time there may remain confusion
Life may prove difficult with no way out
Attacks from all sides with worst expectations of rout

It may compel you to rise and face
Though there may be stiff competition and race
It will amount to be fulfillment of great ambition
Had there been no will power for competition?

Though it is spread over some specific period
It may be ended abruptly with creation of void
No one may be in position to fill in the gap
It will biggest blow on face or slap

The whole of world thrives on hope
No one would prefer it to be called a flop
There won’t be any let up even if it is very sure
Nothing will deter them even if faced with failure

It has got its own charm
Many birds come across and warm
They come from distant land and take refuge
We too have spread a lot and do not go down or refuse
