Ask Not But Work: Two Jobs Or Longer Hours Poem by Terence George Craddock

Ask Not But Work: Two Jobs Or Longer Hours

Rating: 5.0

ask not will I be able to pay the bills?
ask not will I be able to support the house?
just turn off electricity buy less food?

ask not if less stressful are tiny flats?
ask not if it is harder to heat large houses?
just suffer sardine claustrophobia in a can?
or share a large house a family to each room?

ask not does the roof needs repairing?
ask not if the winter will outlast the plumbing?
just pay bills as they come or pay bills off?

better to save money for a rainy day?
better to pay bills buy food then play?
better to work two jobs or longer hours in a day?

ask not if tiny flats are less stressful?
ask not if large houses are harder to heat?
with repairs come concrete boot despairs
