At A Loss Poem by Matthew Holloway

At A Loss

A reflection I do not know
Words I've no relocation speaking
Actions that I cannot answer
The sum total of all this chaos
Results in more confusion
Less understanding
Heartbreak, despair, loneliness
Three accustomed drinking friends
Company in the late or early hours
How often they overlap now
Self destructive behaviour
Is how some may try explain it
Maybe humanity is too difficult
The social and emotional expectations
I fail to relate to continually
Leave me here a poet writing
Talking to........... no one
