At God's Will Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

At God's Will

It was simple passage
And we comfortably managed
The page was blank
There was absolutely nothing to ink

We moved inches further
With sincere offer
To take on any eventuality
With the grace from an almighty

There was nothing to loose
But we chose
To move together
And shoulder

We could become giant tree
For our children to feel free
With cold shade fruits
It was perfectly suited

I sit quietly
And pose smilingly
How do you feel?
"At God's will" she replies

I hear the knock of autumn
Perfect call for return
To original source
With happiness and not with remorse
