We spoke no words and tried
Even did not see eye to eye
She stared at my face
I made no wild chase
Of course we were living separate
But it had nothing to relate
It was her decision
With absolutely no confusion
I cared her with my sincere attitude
I was afraid to giver her no prelude
Yet she was not satisfied
I was frank and never lied
She knew too I was meant for her
It was not her worry to bother
I stood firm behind her action
She had offered no reaction
Today we have met on her insistence
She was in stress and seemed tense
I tried to spoke but kept mum
She was little upset and maintained calm
“So from where do we start”?
You were very much part
Shall we go back in our home?
She smiled little and welcomed
So we are back again
In smiles sans pain
No separation and no guilty mind
At last happiness we could find
My dear Hasmukhbhai, Yet she was not satisfied I was frank and never lied How can she be satisfied When you had neveer lied? Never take it lying down Yourself can't be cowed down. KH Prabhu, Kumta, Karnataka - 581343 Jul 09,2013
