At Last She Came Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

At Last She Came

Rating: 5.0

It is terribly upsetting the mind with long wait
“Love makes man imperfect” it is said
Nothing goes well with in the initial period
The seems full of vacuum and filled with void

It takes enough time to adjust and understand each other
So many things come on surface and make us to bother
It is apparently the state of mind that works a lot
Sometimes it blows cold and sometimes hot

Tension and worry grip the mind and take the control
You are somewhere in another world while making the stroll
Fear is always in command and leads us to some doubts
You go impatient to meet the girl friend and know her where about

You may leave the message for urgent meet at sultry place
She too may be passing through same phase and in race
What may happen if things go differently in case?
This may exactly be the case they may be unprepared to face

The night may not be passing off with ease
Serious thoughts may occupy front seat and release
The series of arguments that may follow or surface
What will be the ultimate outcome to accept and face

Morning day light may bring quiet hope for good
You may not be in position to choose right food
It is time right to go in and clear the uncertainty
Less damage to relation and to explore the possibility

Both might have promised to reach at an appointed hour
The clock may not be rushing to reach the time of four
How long will it take to tick for ending obsession?
What will happen when she relents and come under his possession?

Such is delicate stage and what happens when she doesn’t come?
The bouquet may loose its charm if it can’t welcome
It may generate lots of impatience and heat
Heart may be pumping more and nearly missing the beats

I was watching aimlessly in all the direction
Everything depended on her timely action
I was beat nervous if she offered any reaction
there was enough room for more confusion

I suffered great dilemma when she did not turn up for meet
I was very eager to clear doubts and warmly greet
I saw in her a good companion and trusted friend
There was not doubt that friendship may succeed and will not end

I slipped into old memory when she had greeted me with mile
Whole world had belonged to me and came to feet for a while
Ears always longed to hear her cuckoo type sweet voice
I sank still deeper as had no other choice

She blew in with broad smile and lovely hello
Drew my attention but did not allow
Encircled neck with tight grip and murmured for a while
All my agony and fear disappeared wither beautiful smile

The love-in-wait is difficult to bear with for anyone. Well composed.
