We had something so gorgeous
Right there in our hands
Together we looked it over
And together we understand
In the silence of the night we spoke
Words that came straight from the heart
Our conversation was so soothing
It matched the velvet dark
My heart beats slow against your chest
No more beating until it breaks
After so many beatings
I don't know how much more it can take
But this is not an issue
When I look into your eyes of baby blue
I do not worry about it breaking now
Because I am At Peace, again, with you
