At The Beachfront Poem by Indira Renganathan

At The Beachfront

Just to fill my empty mind
A stroll along the beach stretch

Walking, jogging, talking eating
People are jollily spending time

A horse on its tardy stroll
But ready for a ride fast

Food and toys plenty on wheels
Children want them with squalling cries

Some stray dogs with drooling tongues
Waiting to eat their share of thrown mercy

Far away the sanguine sun in bye-bye-urge
The above azure at the horizon giving a send-off

Bay of Bengal dancing merrily perhaps feeling
She has created a shore city for herself

And at last, behold, those tiny waves rolling
Towards the land like puppies to their mother

Time up. With a large inhale of the pally breeze
I get back home satiated with a filled poetic mind

A beautiful beach scene. Nicely crafted. Thanks.
