half a syllable, semi closed door
demi gods,

a slip, that stutter,
i stare,

you put your thumb
on your lips,

a falling note another
leaf

bald tree outside the house
a mouse,

close a door, divide it into
halves

a melon, a cut finger, blood
dripping on the white table cloth

a flag inverted, the leader
speaks on morning tv,

occupied islands and typhoon
at 300 km/hour

half of the world is feasting
half of the world is mourning

after writing this
you stand and dance the zumba
