“ Ho! The Athirapalli Falls
beckons us to look down from above! ”
we were lured to jump ourselves
down into its deepest world of charm.
Vexed souls here vanish into air,
falling a prey to its bewitching calls.
We weren’t fleeing from its magic hold
when the squally showers bathed us;
But we stamped about on the slipping rock.
The spray of the thundering falls
rose above and stalked through our minds.
Darker clouds gathered over us
and who was striding over the spray?
