Atomic Vomit Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Atomic Vomit

Can you be cleaned.
To come clean.
And cleansed.

Can you,
Be of filth.
Denying to have bathed in guilt.

An atomic vomit worse than a bomb,
You alone...
Have surged to splurge on the World.

A nastiness created you infested.
With invested interest only to self serve.
And your calculated misdeeds,
Now made public.
Revealing such an evil you incurred.
Do you,
Or do you not deserve...
To get,
Locked up and out of sight.
For the rest of your life!

An atomic vomit you alone have surged.
An atomic vomit you alone have purged.
An atomic vomit you alone incurred,
To sicken the World.

Can you,
Be cleaned and cleansed.
Of a filth too intense,
That has incensed the World.
After an atomic vomit worse than a bomb.
To emerge from a spewing you incurred.
