Australia - Enrich Us In Our Free Spaces Poem by Paul Warren

Australia - Enrich Us In Our Free Spaces

When I think of my homeland what do I see
The beauty of the land in a space so free
I like the easiness of Australians in their skin
Who like to smile and will let you come in

Provided you want to join us in our way of life
And forget about what drove you away in strife
We are one and we are many from different places
But you can join us enrich us in our free spaces.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I like to think that people from different cultures who come here enrich us. They don't have to be carbon copies of us but they should pick up what it means to be Australian.
