Avenues Into Another Adventure Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Using time as it travels down train tracks of this
earthly life, finding avenues go straight into an-
other adventure.

Keeping eyes focused on scenery and landscapes as
it travels forward, not paying attention to us as
we struggle throughout life.

Its many hardships and sacrifices, never seem to
leave us alone, a total set-back that keeps a foot
in our doorways just when we think we're about to
be free of all adversity.
