Awaiting An Invitation Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Awaiting An Invitation

Those awaiting an invitation,
To express their empathy and concern.
May not get one to have it known,
What was there already shown...
Had no need for this to address.

With this already accepted to expect.
Since a thoughtlessness to be condoned.
And shown.
Is better left as is.
Without pretending it not to be known.
