Awakening Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Awakening

Introduced to a world filled with wonder
Finding each moment new and adventurous
With eyes open…looking for the thunder
It seems that the search can be very arduous

Hearing silence... waking to the glow of a full moon
Radiance is veiled by silver clouds perfectly aligned
Thoughts unravel like silkened threads of a cocoon
Long before the sunrise has found its conscious mind

Appearing in a place where ideals are plausible
Whispers from inner dimensions offer an invitation
Giving substance to what was once impossible
Going beyond the walls of self-imposed limitations
