B: Xxxii: Conundrum - Poem by Douglas Scotney

World-weary man
Couldn't give a damn
For the hustle,
Couldn't give a care
For the shame
Or the knack,
Took to his back,
Couldn't die,
Wondered why,
'What more
Couldn't I give
Not to live? '
