Sing your song for me Babette
Sing with all your heartfelt love
Sing it never to forget
Let the Angels hear above

Sing a song to take my heart
Tell me you will never leave
A masterful work of art
A simple piece of you to keep

Lovers will hum our melody
Somewhere, someone sings our song
They will share it in an echo
The story of my only one true love

We shall always be best friends forever
Because our hearts are joined as one
Loving you is my passion, pleasure
A treasure to boast to everyone

If love is only found in dreams
Then leave me sleep my life away
Here within my vision
Our children love to run and play

Sing your lovely song for me
And keep me well within your thoughts
Let our love become a portrait
A masterpiece that never can be bought

Babette you are my light of day
I know I'm not worthy of your song
My only regret is I'm not better
Why was it me you chose to love

Sweet dreams, my only love forever
I hope this dream of us, we'll never wake
