Babies Screaming Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Babies Screaming

People are finding a variety of ways,
To accuse the truth...
For their irresponsibility.

Everyday someone exclaims,
Their inability to face...
A discomfort that has come,
To threaten their deluded life to live.
And they blame this,
On the pharmaceutical companies.
YES!
The people who supply them,
With legalized drugs.
The homeless and those hungry,
For taking their entitlements away.
YES!
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?

Everything and everybody,
Is the reason why their lives...
Have begun to take a nose dive,
Down from 'Marmalade Heights'.
And up in faces with their complaints.
Inspite...
Of not taking accountability,
For their own actions.
To consciously poison themselves.
Consuming to feed upon,
What their bodies or minds do not need.
Then want to sue those,
Who provide them drugs.
Or filmmakers and producers of videos.
Like babies screaming,
To have their diapers change.
Instead of demanding brain transplants.
Or something that will instill within them,
A hint of what common sense is.

And they pick the right leaders.
To represent their mental malfunctions.
Who themselves accuse and blame others,
For the calculated actions they take.
That are incompetent to make.
Yet decide they do,
Refusing to accept responsibility.
