Baby Boy Poem by Donna McCord

Baby Boy

Little baby boy wrapped up snug and warm
Dream happy dreams, we’ll keep you from harm
Your mom and dad have planned for this day
Your very existence was created this way

There are a great many things in store for you
Many trees to climb, telescopes to look through
You’ll have your parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts
So many to watch you and dust off your pants

When you look at your parents, you’ll see you lucked out
To be born into this family and of that there’s no doubt
There are so many things to look forward to
And so many people to see what you’ll do.

You’ll have the best life that your parents can give
They’ll do what it takes to make sure of this
You come from good stock and your future looks bright
You’re in good hands, son, sleep well tonight.

'You’ll have the best life that your parents can give They’ll do what it takes to make sure of this You come from good stock and your future looks bright You’re in good hands, son, sleep well tonight.' Lovely poem it is. Love it.
