Back And Forth - Poem by sandy nobody

i held you close
you ran far away from me
i let you go
you kept coming back to me

i gave you love
you ran far away from me
i gave you hate
you came back to me

you said you loved me
i stayed with you
you said you wanted me
i waited for you

i gave you love
you pushed me away
so i left
you came back today

you summed up so poetically what I have unfortunately just learned to be a common theme in relationships. She dumped me after a year of doing exactly what
    you have described.

    very nicely and concisely written
