Yearning for all I used to love
All my thoughts going above
You could have set me free
But now just let me be
All this pain
Has gone down the drain
I stand in this empty room all alone
I’ve got a chill up to my bone
I’ve sewn myself shut
But only because my heart was cut
Back to zero
You were my imaginary hero
In my heart you were always real
Now tell me how you feel
I thought you were like an angel with wings
But instead you were a devil that gave me stings
Why did you go away?
I guess I didn’t trust you enough to make you stay
You were like a bitter pill
That I had to take against my will
This is a good poem. You have some excellent lines I also liked the line (you were like my bitter pill ect) . That is a great line. This is a deep poem.

I really understand this one. This is really good, though I don't like some of the rhymes. They mess up the flow too much. Otherwise, a very nice poem. GW62
