Bad People - Poem by Francis Duggan

People to each other can be very cruel
And some who have power sadly abuse their rule
In wars crimes against humanity are happening today
When bad people abuse their power in a bad way
In the perpetrators of serious crimes lack of empathy and compassion are to blame
All murderous criminals live without a sense of shame
The taking of human lives to them comes as easy as the killing of flies
But what goes around comes around they fail to realize
Few wars ever do end without great loss of pride
The mass graves of war zones the sins of war criminals hide
But if human law for their crimes does not punish them eventually one day
To Karma for their sins they will have to pay
Because of them many good people in hidden mass graves do lay
But what goes around comes around as a truism stay.
