Bahu: God Separated Me From Himself
God separated me from himself
when he created the world.
I heard him say: Am I not your God?
Cried my soul: You are mine.
Indeed, you are mine!
Since that day I lost all sleep
and long each momemnt to go home.
To hell with this world of ours
It robs my soul on my way to him
This cruel world loves not lovers
It makes them cry to suffer in pain.
