Bailout Plan Poem by Ramona Thompson

Bailout Plan

Blame will abound and millions everywhere will suffer
As plan after plan fails to save us or them
In just one year we will all live as animals in a world gone money mad
Left to fend for ourselves by those who we believed would always be there to protect us
One by one we will become our and their worst nightmares come true
Until one rises up braver and touger then the rest to forever change life and the world as we know them
Then and only then will our latest American horror come to an end

An end too late to save many
An end just in time to save the reminding few
With their sanity and families still intact

2008 Ramona Thompson
