Balance Poem by Judy Jones

Balance

Those born into bliss
Surrounded and comforted
Don't believe in life without it

Those of us who strive so hard to find it
Know that is is not everlasting
And it shakes my whole foundation
One that never knew stability
Struggling to understand the principles of living
That brings ease to not only my soul
but to those it touches
But the wind keeps stirring them up
and I struggle to keep my balance
My control
My rationality fades in and out
My sanity is on the stand
Can you stick to the story?
Or is your journey too confusing for even you to understand
Balance
My harmony has eased into a smooth rhythm
Maybe this is as good as it gets
If only I can keep my thoughts
from swirling around
Who side are you on?

I REALLY like this. Beautiful poem about the uncertainty of life and even our own minds. Your choice of words is great and you totally convey the mindstate you're in. I love the title...Balance...somthing we're all striving so hard for. 'My rationality fades in and out My sanity is on the stand Can you stick to the story? Or is your journey too confusing for even you to understand' I LOVE this part. Brilliant work.
