Ballad Of Billy Albertina Poem by Tom Allport

Ballad Of Billy Albertina

Rating: 5.0

In 1984 Billy Albertina
Was sent to jail
All because of Thatcher's
Evil dishonest Tale
He and 36 others
Were innocent men
Their only crime
Way back then
Was to make a stand
By going on strike
To try to save their jobs
And to highlight Cammell Laird's plight.
