Barren On Face Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Barren On Face

Barren on face

I have heard saddest tune
That has gone now
With mind and heart
With imperfection in art

I know it has moved
Me away from the scene and proved
With some healing thoughts
Previously I was seized or caught

It made me to think
And sink
With the idea of nothingness
The beautiful earth seemed barren on the face

No flower was to appear
After rainy shower
I looked as if nothing was good for my survival
I was acting as if helpless individual

But good prayers with simple verses
Brought bright chances
My heart reacted with strong resolve
The loneliness was removed and problem was solved

I sung with full involvement
Each word brought me entertainment
My heart opened up with cheers
The face bore great smile and simply ushered
