Beating A Path To Onself Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Beating A Path To Onself

a great sea one can be perpetually lost in
or find oneself moored at its coast
and picking up all the shapely shells - that's the mind

a great sea one can be perpetually seeking self
or found a compass to all the interesting lands

the great sea where one can beat a path
to oneself in poetry
