Beauty And Tenderness You Bequest (Sonnet #49) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Beauty And Tenderness You Bequest (Sonnet #49)

Beauty and tenderness you bequest
A calm sleeping sea hummed by lady moon
Heavenly flowers, by pure dews caressed
A prayer, a wish fulfilled mid of June

You healed my wounds from your soul's waterfalls
O love! Peace, pride, prease you breathe with ease
With your hand in mine, I can never fall
My heart beats for you till beats in it cease

You're my soul, my higher self, my soulmate
You're my inspiration, my invocation
You helped align my destiny with fate
And lit my world as a constellation

O fields of red roses indulge my view
But my heart sees more blooming, sown by you
