Beauty Behind The Mask Poem by Ronald Strickland

I watched and listen to the voice behind the mask.
the voice carries a smile, and the eyes share happiness
that could be seen for what some may say could be seen
for miles.

The kindness that was shown from behind the mask gave me warmth
and happiness that that only kindness from others will bring.

I know the kindness in the eyes and voice, that a mask cannot
hide the beauty of the soul and so willing to let it show.
