Beauty Is In The Eye Poem by Jennifer Birchall

Beauty Is In The Eye

Rating: 5.0

What is beauty
Beauty to me could be
The sun peeping its eyes through a broken cloud
A forest of green fern trees whispering to each other
That look in the eye of my child so innocent
The face of my child
The drops of rain on the tree I planted
The head on my knee of my beloved pet
A sunset over the river
A silent morning or night
A night filled of music
I could go on and on...

Blessed be our eyes and the eyes of our hearts and spirit that enable us to see and feel beauty, so sweetly and touchingly described in this unforgettable poem.

" Beauty is in the eye" and heart of the beholder as this poem should be. Tenderly moving and very endearing. While reading one feels the connection with all the things and beings you so beautiful yet simply describe. And they are felt not only visually but deep inside. A poem to love and enjoy. I certainly have! Very much so. Poems like this are what make Poetry such a unique and emotional experience.
