Because our salvation is near,
Bear in mind that Christ shall descend;
Judgment day is fast approaching,
The same is true with whole world's end.
Let us open our hearts to truth,
Amid drought, earthquake, and typhoon;
As signs of Christ's second advent,
Some strange things are seen in the moon.
Life is like a race we must run,
With trust, we ought to understand;
Neither can we afford to quit,
Nor lose the momentum at hand.
In the midst of the treacherous track,
Make our faith just firm and divine;
Abound in hope, give our best shot,
For we're close to the finish line.
Stand so strong raising our heads high,
Move forward by His words we hear;
Fight the good fight for the true faith,
Because our salvation is near.
Salvation is fast approaching...... in all the days we live here on earth we shall think of that. our death, our salvation, our nearness to God.. all these matters vry much. thank u dear poet for reminding us of it. thank u. tony

Fast approaching is judgment day, From God's kingdom Christ shall descend; As man gets closer to his grave, So does the whole world's nearing end. Sir Bernard, your great poem gives hope to mankind.
