Before I Die Poem by Randy McClave

Before I Die

Rating: 5.0

Before I die
I will not cry,
Because a great life I did live.
I was always there
And I did care,
Always I helped and did give.
I have been hurt
And others did desert,
But, my destiny I alone did pave.
I have soulfully fought
When love I had sought,
And always I have forgave.
I have never lied
But, I have sighed,
No one have I deliberately mistreated.
I have held their hand
To help them stand,
And unto no one have I ever cheated.
When I go to sleep
I never weep,
From the thoughts of people I erred.
I have truly gave all
So, that they wouldn't fall,
For all I have truly cared.
When I stand before God
I hope he will give me a nod,
For the things that I have done.
Inside his book
When he gives it a look,
It will show from no one did I run.
Before I leave
I will not grieve,
I always gave more than less.
Wherever they stood
I always treated them all good;
I never needed to ask for forgiveness.

Thoughtful poem, I should take courage to standby their decisions and should not repent unless deviated or did wrong to others, it is always better to mend the ways and correct self rather than continue and repent later. It seems you have lead an upright life and followed the right path without hurting, without doing injustice and fulfilled the teaching of Almighty God. Wonderful poem.10++
