Before I Found The Internet - Poem by Not Long Left

i was writing for the masses,
but reaching nothing more,
that a folder,
holding,
nothing,
but a stubborn teenage dream

    Dear Vincent,

Yeah, I was writing for about 15 years before getting anything published & only by the small, obscure presses few & far between. And it hasn't improved much since then. Although by getting on line, you at least know you stand a better chance at a broader audience. This is a bit of all right!

I like it. I was in the same boat not too long ago. Good for you that you keep finding within yourself the ability to keep on writing. (Report) Reply

I've read the first 27 of your poems, Vincent, and you're just a treasure. (Report) Reply
