Before We Are Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Before We Are

Before we are

Not only we utilize?
But realize
That it shall never come back
And put us in dock

So can't we look?
And cook
What is good!
And what is bad

No one asks to be sage
Or compels to take out of cage
But at least speak of personal freedom
And few words of wisdom

Let us be simple
Normal people
And spend time with harmony
As liked by an almighty

There is lot more to suffer
And less to offer
Still we can go ahead
And lead peacefully before we are dead
