Behind The Open Doors Poem by fraidoon warasta

Behind The Open Doors

above all
one thing will never change

riot of anxiety
man's perpetual stalking
the perfection

the silhouette of icarus
against the skyscraper
overcrowded with intelligence
will bend it
crack
sink

yes! there is a sea of illusion
devours its own watery shadows
but never quenches its own thirst

nonetheless
the summit of autumn
will start soon
behind the open doors
all will belong to the gold
the death of leaves
death of feathers
the death of butterfly

all belongs to crimsoned
autumnal allusion and dictions
of decay
of white emptiness
the glowing green light
behind the snow

growing in a swordfish eye
the cycles of
the turquoise-lapis lazuli sky

one thing will never change
