Stagnant water in the pool
having no destination to reach
gets lost eventually, to
elements, at nature's will

Every drop dribbled out
from the spout, nature opened
cruises itself down
freely and steadily
to reach, in unison
the vast and deep ocean

Life of a water trapped in pond is very similar to humans doing routine things for survival and although they appear to be in existence but they are living dead....thought provoking poem. A perfect 10+
