Being Entertained Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Being Entertained

Being entertained by elderly people in a variety
show of talent practiced through the years.
Smiles beaming with attention, dancing in our
mind, images of rhythm and grace.
Memories of yesterday bringing a feast of past
pleasure into our darkest of days, quieting our
hearts, stilling our sorrow, touching our souls
today.
